I've found myself in an interesting season in my life.
One year ago, I was 180 lbs....down 245 from 425 lbs. I started my weight loss mission on March 24, 2008...and I lost the 245 between then and April 2010. So about 2 years of hardwork at the gym and serious calorie-counting and food-logging.
And along the way, my wife and I have learned a lot about obesity, how to lose weight, what works and doesn't work, the strongholds of food addiction, the power of others' words, and the fight to keep off the weight.
While from the outside looking in, it may have seemed like an easy feat. I have learned that I have to remain focused.
My mission in March of 2008 was: LOSE WEIGHT. I never had an exact # in mind...I just knew that I had to get out of the danger zone.
Now my mission is: KEEP OFF THE WEIGHT! I can never go back to being overweight.
